
Terms and conditions

1. General Provisions
1.1. These purchase and sale terms and conditions (hereinafter the Terms) apply to purchases made in the online store maailmalapsed.ee (hereinafter the Online Store).
1.2. The owner and seller of the Online Store is Mamefo OÜ, registry code 16529027, VAT identification number EE102938232, address Käpa tee 7-2, Liivamäe, Jõelähtme Parish, 74207, Harju County, Estonia, e-mail info@maailmalapsed.ee.
1.3. The Terms regulate the legal relationships arising between the Seller and the person who makes a purchase from the Online Store (hereinafter the Buyer).
1.4. In addition to these Terms, the valid legislation of the Republic of Estonia and the European Union applies.
1.5. The Seller has the right to unilaterally amend the Terms and prices. The Terms in force at the time of making the purchase apply to the transaction.
2. Validity of the Sales Contract, Product and Price Information
2.1. These Terms of Sale apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store.
2.2. The prices of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. All prices are in euros and include value added tax in accordance with the applicable VAT rate, unless otherwise stated next to the product.
2.3. A delivery fee is added to the price. The delivery fee is displayed to the Buyer when placing the order.
2.4. Information about the goods is provided in the Online Store directly next to the goods.
3. Placing an Order and Payment
3.1. To order goods, the desired products must be added to the shopping cart, the required data fields must be completed, and a suitable delivery method must be selected.
3.2. The total amount payable will then be displayed and can be paid securely using the following payment methods:
– bank transfer
– bank payments
– Visa and Mastercard card payments
– Apple Pay and Google Pay
– PayPal
– Stripe
3.3. As a general rule, the Buyer pays 100% of the order amount in advance.
3.4. For companies and institutions, the Seller may, by prior agreement, allow payment by invoice with a payment term of up to 21 calendar days.
3.5. Payments are mediated, depending on the payment method, by Maksekeskus AS (registry code 12268475), PayPal or Stripe. Payment takes place outside the Online Store in a secure environment — when paying via a bank link, in the secure environment of the respective bank, and in the case of card payments, in the secure environment of Maksekeskus or the relevant payment service provider. The Seller does not have access to the Buyer’s bank or card details.
3.6. The sales contract enters into force from the moment the amount due is received in the Seller’s bank account or confirmation is received from the payment service provider.
3.7. If the ordered goods cannot be delivered due to the goods being out of stock, cancellation of a pre-sale, or any other reason, the Buyer will be notified as soon as possible and the amount paid will be refunded without delay, but no later than within 14 days of sending the relevant notice.
4. Delivery
4.1. Goods are delivered within the Republic of Estonia.
4.2. To receive the goods, the Buyer may choose delivery to a parcel machine or collection in person by prior agreement.
4.3. The delivery costs are borne by the Buyer, except where the order amount is at least 35 euros and free delivery is indicated in the Online Store.
4.4. Shipments within Estonia generally reach the destination specified by the Buyer within 1–3 working days from the entry into force of the sales contract. In the case of pre-sale products, the delivery time stated in the product description applies.
4.5. In exceptional cases, the Seller has the right to deliver the goods within up to 45 calendar days.
5. Right of Withdrawal
5.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in the e-store within 14 days of receiving the goods.
5.2. The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products, including books with a dedication, unless the product is defective.
5.3. The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital products, including downloadable files, PDFs, e-books and other digital materials.
5.4. The right of withdrawal does not apply to Buyers who are legal persons, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
5.5. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the goods may not be used in any way other than what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
6. Returning Goods
6.1. To return goods, the Buyer must submit a withdrawal statement to the e-mail address info@maailmalapsed.ee no later than within 14 days of receiving the goods.
6.2. The statement must include the order number and the reason for the return.
6.3. The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days after submitting the withdrawal statement or provide proof that the goods have been handed over to the carrier within that period.
6.4. The costs of returning the goods are borne by the Buyer, except where the reason for the return is an incorrect or defective product.
7. Refunds
7.1. The Online Store will refund all payments received from the Buyer under the contract without delay, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal statement.
7.2. The Online Store may refuse to make the refund until it has received the goods back or until the Buyer has provided proof of returning the goods.
7.3. The refund will be made using the same payment method that was used to pay for the order, unless the Buyer and the Seller have agreed otherwise. The refund will be carried out via Maksekeskus or the relevant payment service provider in accordance with their terms of service.
8. Right to Submit a Complaint
8.1. The Online Store is liable for any non-conformity of the goods sold to the Buyer with the contract terms in accordance with the valid legislation of the Republic of Estonia.
8.2. If a defect appears, the Buyer is requested to contact the Seller by e-mail at info@maailmalapsed.ee as soon as possible.
8.3. If the goods have a defect for which the Seller is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the goods. If repair or replacement is not possible, all payments related to the sales contract will be refunded to the Buyer.
9. Processing of Personal Data
9.1. The Online Store uses the personal data entered by the Buyer to process the order and deliver the goods.
9.2. Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy published in the Online Store.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. If the Buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store, they must be sent to the e-mail address info@maailmalapsed.ee.
10.2. If the Buyer and the Online Store are unable to resolve the dispute by agreement, the Buyer has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee.
10.3. The law of the Republic of Estonia applies.
